Sand Pouring Cylinder

The soil testing hardware is utilized for assurance of the dry thickness of compact, fine, medium grained soils and for layers not surpassing 50 cm thickness. A circular gap is burrowed into the ground, all the soil from inside it collected, weighed and dried, and the gap back filled with a standard uniform sand or fine rock, poured from a calibrated holder for calculating the volume of gap. The total device comprises of a Sand Pouring Barrel fitted with Funnel shaped pipe and Screen, Round and hollow Calibration Holder, and a Metal plate with a central hole.
